A tongue in cheek name for a valley that on the surface shares little with The West Coast of America. Or does it? Those that have seen the sunsets and rich woodland colour we have in the valley know there's some truth in it.
We've designed an exclusive scent for our first moi outside seasonal candle that's partly inspired by our favourite winter scents (if you've been in the store you'll recognise them) and the wet woodland smells of Calderdale and Northern California. So we've called it 'Calderfornia' because it really is the best of both worlds.
Olibanum and myrrh bring warming, familiar incense and dry bark notes of a winter fire, and the secret 'Fresh Woods' aroma compliments it with that sweet fruit like scent of a wet forrest floor at this time of year, when the leaves are looking incredible and the bog hasn't set in yet.
